vivo v7

We have reached a point where metal body smartphones in the budget and mid-range segments are quite common, but unfortunately, Vivo does not seem to meet with this program. From a distance, the body looks like this can be metal, but Vivo V7 has a plastic body, like V7 +. Still, we had no problem with the fit and finish of the chassis and buttons. Thin edges do not provide the best grip, but it makes it easy to keep the overall size of the phone.

Vivo V7 has a 5.7-inch IPS full-screen display, thanks to the 18: 9 aspect ratio, usually fits in a body for small size screens. Beams on all sides are very thin but there is enough space on top for earpiece, front camera and sensor. HD + resolution is a bit disappointing, and we would love to see full-HD + instead. Some app icons do not look sharp, and text and system UI on web pages is not the easiest. The colors are quite digested, and the brightness is also good. Phone with a pre-applied screen ship

For some beauty appeal, a chrome trim is running on the edges of the phone, chrome plated antenna bands are running along the top and bottom. We got the touch response of the button and its placement is also good. On the left side, there is a tray for both the Nano-SIM and Micro SD card. A dedicated MicroSD card slot (up to 256 GB) is appreciated. Headphone sockets, micro-USB ports and mono speakers are below the grill phone.

The gray on the back of the matte plastic are also not visible, the rear camera spreads a little bit. Vivo has also placed a fingerprint sensor here, and it works well. It can also be used to lock the app. The phone has a Face Unlock feature, which we will get in the next section. In the box, you get a SIM eject tool, a case, a USB cable, 10W power adapter, manual and headset.

Vivo v7 specifications and features

Vivo V7 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mobile platform, which includes eight ARM Cortex-A53 CPU Core and Adreno 506 GPU. A 400-series processor can take you a little bit, under which you can find phones with similar hardware costs. 10,000, but in practice, Snapdragon 450 is very capable.

Benchmark performance is decent, and Intu returned a score of 55,303 points, while GFXbench churned 33 FPS in the T-Rex Test. Vivo has kept RAM on 4 GB, but has reduced storage from 64GB to 32 GB, compared to V7 +. Battery capacity has also decreased slightly, and now it is 3000 MAH. Single-band Wi-Fi is B / G / N and Bluetooth 4.2. Other specifications include FM radio, USB-OTG, VOLETE support with 4G, accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, a compass, and a virtual guoroscope.

While many manufacturers are finding it easier to optimize their Android, but Vivo has no plans to go under that road. Vivo V7 runs on Funtouch OS 3.2, which is a fork of Android 7.1.2 Nogate. If you are using Android to stock, the Fountive OS can be used to access something. The notification shade will only show you notifications because the Quick Settings have been moved to a panel called Control Center, which That you swipe up from the bottom of the screen. IOS effects are very popular here, ranging from the application's name to everything in their ears.

Software navigation keys can be changed depending on your preference, and you can completely hide them if you choose to do this, you can go back one step or on the home screen, from the bottom of the screen to the top Swipe, but oddly there is no provision to access such recent apps. Fountite OS Unfortunately, Vivo is far from Android's native split screen mode in favor of its Smart Split feature, which currently only includes Google Play Movies, Mx Player, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp and Video, Messages, File Manager, and Calculator. Apes supports.

The V7 has facial recognition feature too, when you lift it on your face, to unlock it. This very good environment works even in light, but fails to work in low light. There is a toggle for 'instant recognition', which is less secure, and Vivo tells that it can be fooled by any picture or video of the registered face. However, when we tried, we were not able to fool it with a picture. Closing 'Quick Recognition' means that it will take a little longer to unlock the phone.

You get all the customization options that we have seen earlier in Vivo smartphones, including the ability to clone apps, one-hand mode and speed gestures. There are also a host of pre-installed third-party purchases, internet and multimedia apps, but thank you, you can get rid of them all.

Vivo V7 display, camera, and battery life

With everyday use, Vivo V7 is a very good performer, and can handle most tasks very well. We did not have any big trouble.

Vivo V7 display, camera, and battery life

With everyday use, Vivo V7 is a very good performer, and can handle most tasks very well. We did not have any big trouble. In fact, even when we were gaming, the phone was hardly hot. Despite heavy skin, the interface is not engaged, and multitasking was also handled very efficiently. The 4G reception is good, and the earpiece is loud enough for phone calls, even at noisy places.

Videos are looking great thanks to the bright display and wide viewing angle. The stock headset is very basic and does not offer any form of isolation. However, plug in a pair of good aftermarket headphones and you will find that the audio performance is really good enough anyway can not be said for the speaker, which is very strong for the conference call but does not work very well with the media is

Just like V7 +, the main selling point of V7 is its front camera, and it's great on it. The 24-megapixel front-sensing sensor has a self-portrait portrait mode and supports HDR. You can capture live photos (similar to iOS). What we really like is the speed at which the cameras take photos and save,

Face beauty mode is present, and provides options for buffing, skin tone correction, and whitening. The Group Safe feature lets you move a mini panorama so that you can order more people in one shot. You can also use your voice or hand gesture to trigger the camera. While taking good light, there is a very good description of volunteers, and in low light, you can use Flash Flash which is much less harsh than an LED flash. In low light, the details are affected but the overall picture is not very loud.

The rear camera has a 16-megapixel sensor camera, which is F / 2.0 aperture, just like the Styphi camera. You also get the same shooting modes here, as well as some extra modes like slow motion, time lapse, professional, PPT, and ultra HD, together with multiple images, stitching many images simultaneously.

Focusing and processing is also quick here. HDR shots take a little longer than regular photos. Landscapes are presented well in daylight, with good details, but often distant objects often have water effect for them. In low light, the noise is handled well, but the details are on the soft side because there is not being much faster. Portrait mode with back camera refused to work on our review unit despite repeated attempts.

The video recording is at the top of 1080p and the quality is decent, however, the constant autofocus does not work here, which means that if your subject is increasing, then you have to tap the screen to adjust the focus, which is not ideal . There is no stabilization, so you will need steady hands.

Vivo V7 is fit with a 3000 mAh battery, which lasted 10 hours, 56 minutes in our HD video loop test. With regular use, we managed to easily go through an entire day and on the same charge, which is good. No fast charging is supported, but the battery gets filled very quickly with the bundle adapter and we were able to reach about 60 percent in less than an hour. Normal battery usage graph is missing in the Settings app, and it seems to have not moved to any other section or even in Vivo's own iManager app. It seems to be a kind of custom skin type, you can download a third-party battery manager and look at the same information, but we do not see any reason for not having the original functionality

Decision

In our experience with Vivo V7, we have found that it is a good work to take indigenous from the front camera, and the design is familiar but is still more manageable than the V7 +. Battery life is also good, despite a slight decrease in capacity. On the other hand, the competition is very fierce, and therefore a plastic body and HD screen does not really cut it anymore. Vivo's interface is also beginning to feel dated, and it is time that the company ended it and made it lightweight.
